MDWK is our weekly student (6-12th) gathering. It is a mix of games, food, worship, and relevant lessons. We want to provide a safe space where teens are known, valued, and accepted for who God has created them to be. In doing that we focus on growing in faith, understanding the gospel, and connecting scripture to daily life. MDWK runs from Sept-May.
What to Expect
(Sept-May on Wednesdays)
6:15PM - Doors Open / Check-In
Look for the welcome banners and greeters. There is some free time to grab a snack, catch up with a friend, chat with a leader...
6:30-8:00PM : MDWK (Youth Group)
Everyone meets on the upper level in the Sanctuary at 6:30PM for a high-energy, crowd mixing game and any updates or announcements.
Students lead 1-2 worship songs to prepare us for a short (15-20 minutes), practical talk about faith and real life issues.
The best part of the night, you break off into small groups and talk about the lesson with other students your age. Groups will be done by 7:55PM.

8:00PM-8:45PM : Fellowship Time
Optional fellowship time in the lower level Fellowship Hall and Gym. Some nights we will have an organized game (Nerf Wars, Dodge Ball, Volleyball) and some nights are open gym time. Most nights there will be a craft available. There will always be a place to just sit and hangout with friends or play a card game.
9:00PM : Building Closes
Between 8:45-9:00PM we reset the building and close our doors at 9PM. Make sure to be picked in that time as we want to send our volunteer leaders home to get some rest after an exciting night.
